The World Sustainable Development Fund (WSDF) is set to participate in the Angola Investment Summit, an international forum held under the patronage of His Excellency João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, President of the Republic of Angola, and co-hosted by the Global Tourism Forum and the Ministry of Tourism of Angola.
Convened at a Presidential Protocol venue, the summit will gather heads of government, ministers, international financial institutions, investors, business leaders, and development organizations for strategic discussions on investment, economic diversification, and sustainable growth across Africa.
Olga Fleming, Chairwoman of the World Sustainable Development Fund, will lead the panel discussion titled “Enabling Tourism Growth: Finance, Policy & Partnerships.” The session will examine how targeted investment, supportive policy frameworks, and strategic partnerships can unlock tourism’s potential as a driver of sustainable economic development. The panel will feature José Ramón Bauzá, former Member of the European Parliament; István Ujhelyi, former Member of the European Parliament; Nicole Monge, Senior Director at APCO; and Luís Miguel Fialho Teles, Chief Executive Officer of Standard Bank Angola.
In addition to chairing the panel, WSDF will engage in bilateral meetings with government officials, institutional investors, and international partners to explore opportunities for cross-border cooperation and capital mobilization into sustainable development projects.
The World Sustainable Development Fund looks forward to contributing meaningfully to the summit and collaborating with global leaders to develop practical solutions that strengthen investment ecosystems and promote long-term economic prosperity in Africa.
