The World Sustainable Development Fund (WSDF) has become an official partner with Women TechEU to facilitate women-led deep tech entrepreneurship across Europe. This partnership is a testament to WSDF's strong commitment to inclusive innovation, sustainable development, and gender equality in the tech sector.
As a member of the Women TechEU Allies community, WSDF joins an increasing number of investors, ecosystem enablers, media partners, public institutions, and EU initiatives–all uniting to enable more women to shape the science and technology of the future.
Women TechEU Allies program is a central contribution to the elimination of historic gender disparity in deep tech innovation through catalyzing strategic partnerships, enhanced visibility for female-led businesses, and access for founders to most impactful resources and stakeholders. WSDF, as an Ally, will actively help build a more diverse, collaborative, and high-impact technology ecosystem in Europe and beyond.
“Empowering women in deep tech is not only a question of equity—it is essential for building a sustainable and resilient future,” said Olga Fleming, Chair of WSDF. “Our alliance with Women TechEU allows us to directly support visionary women entrepreneurs whose innovations have the potential to transform industries and accelerate progress toward the UN Sustainable Development Goals.”
WSDF's dedication to women-led innovation extends beyond investment and visibility—it entails policy advocacy, impact investing, and convening senior conversation about inclusive growth. Through this collaboration, WSDF will partner on strategic initiatives, co-design programs, and work with other Allies to dismantle structural obstacles and unlock the full potential of underrepresented founders in deep tech.
As an organisation working at the intersection of sustainability, investment, and development cooperation, WSDF is pleased to stand together with like-minded institutions dedicated to supporting innovation that reflects the diversity of our societies.
